Discipleship and Biblical training is an essential part of improving the quality of life for individuals and communities. The knowledge of God’s love and the peace and power received trough faith in Christ establishes a foundation on which moral principles can be developed, such as personal hygiene, racial equality, honesty and work ethic.
However in the Ganges River region of Asia especially, the knowledge of God’s love and truth is sparse. Steeped in idol worship with Christians numbering less than 2%, the people are often tormented by demons and exist in constant dread of spirits, curses and ultimately of death.
As people grasp the life-giving concepts of the Bible and deepen their personal relationship with Jesus, their quality of life naturally rises. They experience less sickness due to improved hygiene. Husbands are delivered from alcoholism and redirect their income to feeding and educating their children. Faces go from dreary to glowing with the joy and the peace of Heaven.
