LIFE TOUCH PROJECT

Needy families which are unable to send their children to a good school is a major problem in the Gangetic Plain region of North India. Most rural children drop out of school by grade five due to poor quality of education in the government-run schools, too far to travel or financial pressures which require them to work to help support the family.

Life Touch Project is changing this situation, one child at a time. Just started in 2010, we began identifying truly needy children who were growing up illiterate, with no opportunity to go to a good school. Many were also malnourished, having only one meal a day. Now, through the sponsorship of individuals such as you, these children are receiving the following benefits:

LifeTouch Project is all about touching the lives of God’s people, physically, mentally and spiritually. God gave us this vision to touch the lives of those who are His children by showing them love and caring for their needs.

“And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward.” (Matt. 10:42)

Being in the field of education for almost 30 years, God put in my heart to sow the seed of His love in the soft soil of a child’s heart. To accomplish this, the child needs a solid education so that the future generations can be God fearing, have Godly love and shine as bright stars in His firmament. It was in order to fulfill this vision that I came to Varanasi in 1998. The Lord led me to TellAsia Ministries because they shared the same vision. LifeTouch project started in 2008 with just three kids.

Slowly this project began to expand with the addition of twelve kids who are now doing exceptionally well in their respective schools while also growing in His Word. There are many more children waiting to be a part of this project so that they too can have a future of hope, love and care. I am confident that what God has promised, He also is faithful to fulfill.
