The Life Center project is to complete the construction of a 20,000 sq ft. facility in the unreached Gangetic Plain of North India. This facility is essential for the training of hundreds of indigenous pastors and leaders. Only 15 years ago it was hard to find a single Christian in the rural areas of this state of India called Uttar Pradesh, home to an astounding 174 million people. In the last five years thousands of Hindus have come to Christ and hundreds of new churches have been established. Yet this was only a beginning. Recognizing that no one organization can reach these masses, in 2008 Rev. Alok Srivastava and Leanna Cinquanta initiated the 2020 Network - a united effort of many churches and leaders to see Uttar Pradesh grow to 20% Christian by Year 2020. Only a year later, the vision is already becoming a movement. Over 1,400 indigenous pastors and 182 small organizations from every District of the state are now participating in the Network. The united goal for Year 2010 is 112,500 new believers and 2,600 new churches.
However, such growth in numbers of new believers and new churches raises a serious issue: Who will lead these masses of new believers? How will pastors be trained to lead the fledgling churches? Church planting experts agree that one of the most serious threats to an indigenous movement is lack of proper training of grass-root leadership. When there is a leadership deficit, church growth and church multiplication grinds to a halt. Also when young leaders attempt to begin their ministry without sufficient grounding in Christian character and Biblical doctrine, serious problems arise.

The ground level of the Life Center is finished and was inaugurated in October 2011.
Currently the village pastors and indigenous leaders served by the 2020 Network are incapable of supplying adequate training for their new leaders. The “Life Center” facility at Lucknow will provide a solution to this problem and will revolutionize the ministries of these small rural pastors. It will be a source of solid discipleship and leadership training where key future church planters and pastors will be trained. These leaders will be the drivers of the movement as it continues to escalate. Thus the Life Center will serve all organizations regardless of denomination or organizational affiliation.
