Testimony: I was born and brought up in a Hindu family. When I was very young my father died. I was sick all the time and my mother was not able to take me to a doctor because she had no money. Sometimes there was no food. I have one older sister Sonam. It was very difficult for my mother to take care of both of us. One day my mother’s friend came and told her about Blue Haven Children’s Home. In 2005 my elder sister Sonam and I came to Blue Haven Children’s Home. When we came here we started to go to an English medium school and now by God’s grace I can read and write in English. Here I am growing spiritually and physically. Also I am very healthy. Now I am learning about Jesus too. I am so thankful to Jesus for letting me come here.

Testimony: I was born in a very remote village called Zankar in the state of Jammu Kashmir. In my area there was no road and no school and everyone was Buddhist. It was a very hard life there especially in the winter because snow and ice were everywhere. When I was very young my father died. I have five sisters and one brother and my mother could not provide food and other needs for us. Often we did not have food and warm clothes. In winter we suffered a lot without warm clothes. Our hands and feet used to swell up because of the cold.
One day my mother shared with a Christian person about our pathetic condition and he told her about Blue Haven Children’s Home. So my mother sent me here. Here I am getting good food, clothing and education. Every day I am going to the school and I am very happy to be here. After I complete my studies I want to be a policeman and serve my country.

Testimony: I was born in a Hindu family in a remote area where there were no roads, no busses and no schools. My father died when I was very young. I had one younger brother. Due to poverty my mother was not able to look after us and send us to school. Through one of our relatives I came to Blue Haven. When I came here I started to go to school. Here I am getting good food and good education. I want to be a teacher and to open a school in my village so that other children can have an education and won’t have to suffer like I did.

Testimony: All of my family is Hindu and I have three sisters and two brothers. My mother died when I was very young and life was always difficult for me. My father worked as a laborer in the field to earn a little money but it was not enough for our family. We were in a miserable condition. Often we didn’t have food to eat and instead of food we just drank water. In 2005 God brought me into Blue Haven Children’s Home. Here we receive good care and are learning a new way of life. Also I am learning about the living and mighty God, Jesus Christ. I believe that my God will help me in my education. I can read, write and speak in English. I want to be a doctor. I love my Blue Haven.

Testimony: I am from a remote village where there is no electricity and not even a road. My whole family is Hindu. When I was in my home, my parents worked hard but even so they weren’t able to provide even our daily bread. My family was in a difficult financial crisis. Even though my school fee for the Hindi-medium public school was only 10 Rupees, my parents sometimes could not manage to pay. I had a very disobedient nature and behaved badly with my parents and friends.
By God’s grace my sister Neha and I got to come to Blue Haven Children’s Home. Now I know Jesus and He has forgiven all my sin. Now I know how to read and write and am studying in a good English medium school. I am very thankful that I am able to be here at the children’s home.

Testimony: I was born in a Christian family and have one sister. My father died when we were little children. I was very naughty and caused a lot of problems for my mother. She used to send me to attend Sunday School but instead I wandered with the local children. In 2005 I came to Blue Haven Children’s Home. I now see that God chose me and brought me from darkness to light. I am very happy to be in Blue Haven Children Home. Here I am learning many things and growing spiritually. On 18th March 2011, my mother also passed away. Please pray for me.

When I grow up I want to be a teacher and go back home and help my community.

Testimony: I come from Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal. I am from a Hindu family. I attended a school that was run by the government and didn’t give good education. So I was not able to study properly. In 2005, through God’s plan my brother Arvind and I came to Blue Haven Children’s Home. Before coming here I didn’t know about Jesus but here I learned about Jesus and now I believe in Him. Here they send me to a good English medium school and I can even speak English now. Whatever I asked God He has given me. One of the things I really enjoy is card tricks and all kinds of magic tricks and science experiments.

Testimony: I was born and brought up in a Buddhist family. I have one brother. My father always used to come home drunk and then he used to quarrel and beat my mother. He spent all his money in drinking. There was no peace in our family. My parents worked in the fields as laborers so they weren’t able to give us good food or clothing. My mother also worked hard as a laborer to carry stone to build buildings so that she could send us school.

One day my father told me that he was going to send me to a hostel run by Buddhists where they train children to become monks. My older brother was already there becoming a monk. But at about that same time my mother came to know of Blue Haven Children Home and so I got to come here. Now I am studying in an English medium school. My mom could never imagine that I would get such a good education. Here I am so happy. Here I learned of Jesus Christ who is the Living God and now I know Him as my Savior. I want to do well in my studies and become a doctor.

Testimony: I have three sisters and two brothers. My parents were very poor. My father was working as laborer on highway construction and he earned barely enough for us to survive. We weren’t able to go to school and sometimes didn’t have food to eat or proper clothing. I didn’t have anything to do all day so I roamed here and there and was very naughty.

In 2005 through God’s plan I came to Blue Haven Children’s Home. They enabled me to go to an English medium school but because I had never gone to school I was very weak in my studies. The teachers in Blue Haven helped me a lot and now I can read, write and speak English. All my bad habits are gone. I am very thankful to be here and I am growing spiritually and physically. In the future I want to be a pilot.

My father and mother sent me to a government Hindi medium school but I didn’t obey my parents and instead I always went and played with my friends. When I was in the village I didn’t know anything about Jesus. Since coming to Blue Haven Children’s’ Home I am learning about Jesus and also I am studying hard in an English medium school. I always pray that the Lord will help me. One day I want to become an agricultural engineer.

After coming here I learned so many things that I was not able to learn there at my home. I have learned how to read and write English and Hindi and now I am going to a good school. I am so happy because God has brought me here to Blue Haven and I have learned about God’s love. The most important thing is that I came to know the true and living God. Testimony: I was born in a Christian family but I didn’t know God properly. I have three brothers and five sisters. My parents worked in the field. I was very naughty. Sometimes when my parents corrected me I would run away from my home. I didn’t want to go to school as I was not good in my studies. I could not speak and write Hindi and English. In 2005 I came to Blue Haven Children’s Home. Here I came to know about the Love of God and I learned how to speak English and how to write in Hindi. I also learned proper hygiene and manners. I learn many Christian songs. Now I can play guitar also, not very well but I am still learning and also learning piano. My aim is to become a pilot. I know that God has chosen me and has a plan for my future. I want to serve the Lord.

Testimony: Before coming to Blue Haven Children’s Home we were really poor and didn’t have good food to eat. Because of this my mother and I became sick and weak and I was not able to go to school. My sister Rita had to stop going to school in order to cook food for my mother and I. My parents were very worried about me. By God’s grace my father and mother now have a good job at Blue Haven Children’s Home and Blue Haven provides for us along with the other children. Now I can read and write in English. I am very happy.

I can write and speak in English. I am studying very hard and believe that God will help me in my education also. When I grow up I want to be a teacher.

Hundreds experienced miraculous healing and over 5,046 native leaders received Biblical training.	23,000 destitute children learned to read and write, and also committed thier lives to Christ. Land was acquired for a future SELF-SUPPORTING children's home, school and medical clinic.
