For lack of as little as $350-$500 startup capital, families who otherwise could earn a good living subsist in poverty and misery, exploited by others and enslaved to debt. However when given a little coaching in how to run a small business along with some funds to get started even an illiterate woman can be a successful businessperson.

Usually though the woman is the one who receives the training and the funding, the business ends up being a family effort. Busineses include operating a general store, a cosmetics store, vegetable selling, cloth selling, and tailoring.

These tiny businesses often more than double the family's income. Families who couldn't send their children to a good school are now able to provide them an excellent education, ensuring that the next generation will not live in poverty. Pastor's wives who are enabled to start a micro-business enable their husband to be more active in the ministry as he no longer has to work such long hours at his minimum-wage labor job.

	A Few of Our Accomplishments - Year 2011
	123,565 people made a commitment to Christ, 34,166 new believers were baptized and 4,680 new house-based churches were planted through the 2020 Network, a project initiated and directed by TellASIA. Over 5,046 pastors and Christian leaders received Biblical training.	23,000 destitute children learned to read and write, and also committed thier lives to Christ. Land was acquired for a future SELF-SUPPORTING children's home, school and medical clinic.
