CONTENTS:** HOW WE BEGAN** CURRENT WORK** FINANCIALS** MISSION STATEMENTTellASIA Ministries exists to make disciples, establish churches and bring holistic transformation throughout the least evangelized and most needy areas of the world. ** HOW WE BEGANAt age 15 Leanna Cinquanta, founder of TellASIA Ministries and our humanitarian department Living Hope Alliance, experienced a dramatic encounter with the risen Christ. Forsaking a promising career as a professional horse trainer, she attended Youth With A Mission in Colorado. There she experienced another encounter with the Lord, in which He commissioned her to bring the Jesus' love to the most needy areas of the world and directed her to start in India. Through amazing dreams, the Lord then showed her that specifically the Ganges River area of North India, and in fact one particular city called Varanasi, was the key to the nation. In September 1996 she boarded a plane with a one-way airline ticket, leaving a will for her parents to find, expecting never to return alive. Her first three years in India were spent living directly with the few existing believers in the villages and small towns, participating fully in their austere lives of poverty and persecution. In 1997 she sold her last horse in order to purchase a second-hand jeep for an Indian pastor. TellASIA Ministries/Living Hope Alliance was registered the same year. TellASIA began to enable the local Indian believers to establish churches in new, unevangelized areas, starting in Varanasi, an area known as “the graveyard of Christian missions.” Leanna’s routine became about 6 mos. in India and 6 mos. in the US raising the funds for the growing ministry. In the year 2001 Leanna embarked on Master of Divinity Studies at Fuller Theological Seminary, juggling this with ongoing ministry responsibilities. She graduated in 2005 with a GPA of 3.98. During this time, Leanna researched the great moves of God in history and implemented these strategies directly in TellASIA’s field work. The result was absolutely dramatic! The Gospel began to spread mightily. Young believers began to go out spontaneously sharing their faith. Astounding miracles took place. Cancer, epilepsy, and paralysis were healed. Demons were cast out. Thousands committed their lives to Christ and churches were established in hundreds of villages. At the same time, vicious persecution arose. Anti-Christian groups vowed to kill our national director. On several occasions they had to evacuate the city in the middle of the night, expecting a mob attack. Numerous times our national ministers were severely beaten and thrown in prison. Through all of this, the work continued to accelerate. The Year 2007 was a record year with over 17,000 people making a commitment to Christ and 3,255 of them being baptized. 250 new village churches were planted giving us over 1100 churches in villages that formerly had no Gospel witness. In 2008 the 2020 Network was launched, providing assistance and training to over 1,000 indigenous pastors and leaders throughout the Gangetic Plain state of Uttar Pradesh. In 2009 this united, multi-denominational team led over 62,000 people to Christ and planted 1,791 new house-based churches. Our corporate goal in 2010 is 112,500 new believers, 2,600 new house-based churches and training provided to 3,000 upcoming leaders/pastors.
** LIVING HOPE ALLIANCE - OUR HUMANITARIAN DIMENSIONOur humanitarian work started in 2004 with two outreaches to the Tsunami victims, followed by the establishment of Blue haven Children’s Home in 2005, the only Christian children’s home for a population of 4 million. In 2006 we launched sewing schools for underprivileged young women, and a Micro-business program to help women have a way of earning an income. 80 young women graduated from the Sewing schools in 2007, and 60 other women’s lives were transformed through starting their small businesses. From 2008-2009 the Rural Education Project enabled 19,000 destitute children to learn to read and write. Currently we are opening a new children's home in a city where child prostitution is a significant threat for unwanted children. We hope to initiate 150 new Education Centers and construct a village school. Here are a few of the large projects which are underway:

** DOCTRINAL STATEMENT
We believe that:
1. The Bible, as it is contained in the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, is divinely inspired, and constitutes the only infallible and authoritative Word of God. 2 Tim.3:16; 2 Pe.1:20 - 21; Mt.5:18. 2. There is one God, Creator and Lord of the universe, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, distinguishable but indivisible. Deut.6:4; Is. 44:6-8; Mt. 28:19. 3. Jesus Christ is God the Son incarnate, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, truly man. He lived a sinless life and died on the cross of Calvary as a substitutionary sacrifice for the sins of all mankind. He was buried, physically arose from the dead, and ascended into heaven, where he is now the interceding High Priest, at the right hand of the Father. Jn.1:14; Lk.1:34-35; Jn.3:16; He. 4:15; Ph. 2:5-8; 1Co. 15:3-5 4. Man was created in the image of God. He sinned and was consequently separated from God. All men are sinners, both by birth and by choice. As a result, man is by nature depraved, under condemnation and unable to attain to divine righteousness. Ge.1:26; Eze.18:4; Ro.3:10-12;5:12-18. 5. Sinners are saved by grace, through repentance and faith in the perfect and complete work of Jesus Christ on the cross. The blood of Jesus Christ is the only basis for the remission of sins. Eph.2:8-9; Heb.9:12,22; Ro.5:12;Ac.4:12. Though essentially spiritual in nature, the benefits of salvation embrace the needs of the total person-spirit,soul, and body. 1Pe.2:24; 3Jn.2; Jas.5:15; 1Th.5:23. 6. The Holy Spirit is instrumental in: *Regeneration-the new birth of every person who repents of his sin and receives Christ as Savior and Lord. Jn.3:3-8; Ro.10:9-10, 2Pe.3:9. *The experience of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. Ac.2:1-4;19:1-6 *Sanctification-a life of separation from the world to live in holiness, producing the fruit of the Spirit. Col.3:1-8; Ga.5:22-23. *Divine healing of the spirit, soul and body. Mk.16:18; Ac.28:8-9; 1Pe.2:24 Deliverance from the power and influence of evil spirits. Mk.16:18; Lk.10:19-20 7. Satan is an angelic being who rebelled against God. He is the head of a hierarchy of evil spirit beings who influence mankind and seek their ruin. These are subject to believers, and will all eventually be cast into eternal judgment. Lk.4:1-13; 10:17-20; Eph.6:12; Mt.25:41. 8. The Church is the redeemed community of God’s people throughout all ages. All believers are priests under Jesus Christ, who is the Head of the Church. Re.1:6; Eph.1:22,23. 9. The essential functions of the Church are: *To worship the Lord in spirit and in truth. Jn.4:23-24. *To disciple believers and help them to grow into the likeness of Christ. Eph.4:11-16. *To actively engage in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ among all nations. Ac.1:8; Mt.28:18-20. 10. All believers are commanded to be baptized in water by immersion as a public testimony of their death with Christ and resurrection to new life in Him. Mt.28:19; Ac.2:36-38; 8:16; 10:48; 19:1-15. 11. Believers are to participate in Communion, known as the Lord’s Supper, the juice and broken bread being symbolic of the broken body and shed blood of Jesus Christ. Mt.26:26-29; 1Co.11:23-26. 12. All believers are to give of their substance to the Lord’s work. 1Chr.16:28; Mal.3:10; 1Co.16:2. 13. The dead will be resurrected, believers to eternal life with God, and unbelievers to eternal judgment and torment. 1Co.15:50-54; 1Th.4:16-17; 2Th.1:8-9. 14. Jesus Christ will return to this earth personally, visible and bodily in power and glory to establish His Kingdom. Jn.14:3; 1Th.4:16-17; Ac.1:11.
